About Us

Access Alliance was formed as a program alliance in December 2007 with the task of designing and constructing upgrades to the Great Northern Highway between Muchea and Wubin. The Alliance includes team members from designers AECOM, and WA contractor Brierty Ltd,  together with representatives from Main Roads WA.

Our Purpose:

To provide a safe and efficient road to create an enjoyable driving experience, utilising the advantages offered by a program alliance.

Our Vision:

“One team, excellent results”
A signed Declaration of Commitment plaque Access Alliance members

The Alliance was formed after the Brierty- Maunsell (Maunsell became AECOM in 2009) proposal was successfully selected for the Great Northern Highway (Muchea – Wubin) upgrade (Main Roads Contract 105/06). The Alliance was formalised with the signing of the Alliance Agreement and Declaration of Commitment on the 12th December 2007.

This is the first program alliance to be undertaken by Main Roads WA and the largest project undertaken to date by Main Roads WA's Wheatbelt North Region.
