Project Timetable

Access Alliance’s upgrade of Great Northern Highway commenced in 2008 and is anticipated to conclude in February 2010. The upgrade has been undertaken as a series of work packages, enabling increased attention to detail and improved work outcomes. Some work packages have now been completed, with others still under construction.
In the tables below, the timetabled upgrade works are listed according to their status – Current, Upcoming or Completed. Under each category, works are listed geographically, beginning at works closest to Perth.

Bindoon South: Hart Drive to Tea Tree Road

·   Construction of turning pockets into Hart Drive, Chittering Road and Cobble Road
·   Improved access to the Holy Trinity Church

New Norcia to Waddington

·   Construction of northbound passing lane
·   Capaproa Brook bridge upgrade, including improving approaches to the bridge
